Devious Journal Entry

Sat Mar 7, 2009, 5:22 PM
Have I really not updated this thing since October? Shite.

I am alive! Life has been pretty busy, beginning with my last semester of school--hence, the lack of updates starting in October! I was taking more than a full course load, with most of them being upper-level, intensive classes, and finals killed my brain for a couple of weeks, but I prevailed! :D I graduated from university on the 21st of December.

A week later, my Dad and I packed up my apartment in Baton Rouge and set out on a 3,000-mile trip to Seattle! I was trying to arrive in time to go to ~Sado-Nishi's New Year's party, but alas, the Jeep died and set us back a couple of days. I was stuck in Wisconsin when 2009 rolled in, but I did get a lot of phone calls, IMs and text messages from my friends wishing me a happy New Year!

Long story short, I'm now a bonafide Washingtonian. :boogie: I got a cute apartment and am now working full-time as a loan officer at a small financial institution. There are things I miss about LA, including my family, but I'd been prepared for that. After all, I did plan this move for what, almost four years? All in all, I'm really happy with my life right now, even though there are happenings that weigh on my mind (but who doesn't have those?). I've gotten to visit so many friends and meet so many new people, and it's just been wonderful.

Anyway, I've been working on art and cosplay that I can hopefully post here soon. I hope you'll enjoy it!

P.S.--
PENDULUM CONCERT TONIGHT WITH SANDY AND HANNAH, FUCK YEAH! I am hella excited.

If we call a person who speaks 3 languages a trilingual, a person who speaks 2 languages a bilingual, how do we call a person who only speaks 1 language?

An American.
:iconwickedlady101:
Ya America!!!! I am Awesome. How are you??? I had a lot of fun at the con. Everyone was so super nice. I also have found cute pics from everyone. So If its okay with you I might put some of the canada/america ones on my DA???

And is it just my imagination or are you cosplaying as Hibari In your Deviant ID??
:icontraumarei:
Sure, go ahead, just as long as I don't look fugly or something! ^_~

And yes, I was *sort of* cosplaying Hibari. What happened there was, ~Sado-Nishi had gotten a haircut that looked very Yamamoto-ish, so I in turn got one to purposely mimic Hibari's hairstyle.
:iconwickedlady101:
Thanks I added a couple to my page. I might add some more later, that is if I can find more where I don't look like a total dork. Oh canada why are you so dorky?? Anyways you don't have to worry cause you look fine in all of them and if you don't agree I will take it down and put another one up in its place :)

That story is so cute. I am to wimpy to get my hair cut like an anime characters even though its quite short.
:iconquaxicoffelees:
America is my hero~
Thank you, thank you, thank you, so very, very, very much for absolutely everything.
I am incredibly grateful and forever indebted to your amazing kindness.

Just want to say thank you for letting me and France stayed at your apartment.
And...Err...Are you interested in doing some USUK shoots for Christmas? I might be in a revolutionary war costume. ^^

Why hello there England

You're quite welcome. I'm glad you hung out with us again- that was fun!

And I would absolutely be interested in doing USUK shoots with you. :] I actually plan to start working on my revolutionary war costume pretty soon, so I can try to have it done by around Christmastime as well...ahh, that'd be really awesome.

*blushes* Stop being so charming!
:icondark1110:
Yay. *hug*
I'm really looking forward to it. Hope it would not be too cold in December.
It was awesome to be with you guys. I totally loved it. ^^
